The Jesus Experience | Isaiah 51:3 MSG

.... . I'll transform her dead ground into Eden, her moonscape into the garden of GOD, A place filled with exuberance and laughter, thankful voices and melodic songs.

-Isaiah 51:3

There is a place where the Lord transforms the dead things, to living things. Where there is laughter, songs of joy, peace and shouts of victory. That place is the place we should desire. Not performing religious duties, because that does not, take us to that place. That place is where God wants His people, because He desires to meet with His people. He desires to turn His attention to His people. It's the "Jesus Experience" the place where, Jesus is an experience not a fictional figure, that is some far away person. Rather, He is an experience. When the brilliance of His face is a reality, then it will not just be a duty to read some chapters. You want to read until you see Him in front of you. You want to shout until you smell the fragrance of His clothing. You want to sing until He looks into your eyes with passion, joy and care. The Jesus Experience is way more than just a reading of chapters, singing of songs, praying of prayers. It's singing til His face appears, it's reading til His whisper is great, hallelujah. As the old hymn declares, what a friend we have in Jesus. Do you know a friend so faithful?, Ofcourse we don't. Where unccesary reliability is placed on humans, there is error and dissatisfaction. Not because humanity is unreliable, but rather, when expectations are placed on humans that God was intended to carry, dissatisfaction is the result. Jesus is the greatest experience and when our greatest reliance is on Him, dissatisfaction and disappointment become foreign words to us. Hallelujah. The Jesus Experience, worth every moment.
